Nova Scotia Salmon

The omega-3's found in fatty fish such as salmon have been shown in studies to have a variety of health benefits ranging from reducing the risk of heart disease to treating the pain and inflammation associated with arthritis.

Although wild salmon may be a bit more expensive, the health benefits to risk ratio are certainly in its favor.

I tried this salmon from my local market, The Daily Grind. Rick flies it in fresh from Nova Scotia. You just can’t get salmon this fresh at a grocery chain. He seasons it with a little lemon pepper to bring out all of the natural flavors.

I cooked it on my indoor grill and it was better than delicious. It was the best I have ever had. People think that it is pricy but when you consider that I got two meals out of this piece, it came to only $2.50 a meal. How cheap is that?

Bon Appetit!
