Fruit and Herb Infused Water



Much like Agua Fresca, these fruit flavored waters are simple to make but instead of using flowers and seeds, you use fresh herbs…or break the rules and do both.

Just looks at how easy these are…

Fruit -- 2 cups berries, citrus, melons, pineapple or other fruit

Herbs -- a sprig of mint, basil, sage, rosemary, tarragon, thyme, or lavender

Add a sprig of fresh herbs to a 2 quart jar then press and twist with muddler to release the flavor.

Add 2 cups of fruit to jar then press and twist with muddler to free some of the juices.

Fill jar/pitcher with ice cubes.

Add water to the top of jar.

Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

You can also add a little rum to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!
