It pays to shop around!

Mural - Hotel Matilda...

Brazilian artists Eduardo Kobra and Agnaldo Brito teamed up for this beautiful mural at Hotel Matilda for the Smart Festival.

I would love to start a campaign to leave this mural up. Rumor has it that it's being removed this month.

This is one of the most beautiful murals that San Miguel has seen.

L'otel...

We had a peek at L'otel at 1 Chiciquitos and decided it was too beautiful not to share.

$$$$

When Fiesta Queen Patrice Wynne decides to throw a party it's always on a grand scale, this time toasting Jackie Flynn and Jennifer Stevens of International Living at a rooftop event a few Sundays back.

So here's what we do when Patrice calls for a potluck feast. I certainly ate my share.

This is the vegetarian recipe I made for the party. You can serve it on crackers or spread it on a sandwich and load it down with meat and cheese.

Healthy and delicious. You don't find that combination too often.

8 Oz Sliced Mushrooms, Sliced
8 Oz Can Artichoke Hearts, Chopped
Small Jar Spanish Olives, Drained and Sliced
¼ cup Chopped Bell Pepper
½ cup Chopped Celery

Put all in a bowl.

Combine in a saucepan and boil:

1/3 Cup White Vinegar
1/3 Cup Olive Oil
1/8 Cup Dry Onion
1 ¼ tsp Italian Spice
½ teaspoon each of:
Salt
Garlic Salt
Sugar
Pepper

Pour over veggies and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Shooting with my iPhone: the murals of Guadalupe.

Love Notes

Belmond Maroma:

Visit Belmond Maroma Resort and Spa In Cancun-Tulum Highway, Km 51, Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo for a little over the water spa treatment. Is this on the right side of heaven?

Around town...

Come September...

Nothing is ever good or bad unless you think so.

Here's looking at you San Miguel!

Buen Apetito!
