I made these last week and shared the photo with you but not the recipe. These are so easy. There is a trick to this recipe however - Eating just one!
Bon Appetit!
White Chocolate Covered Oreo Cookies
1 package Oreo cookies
6 ounces white chocolate
1 package peppermint sprinkles
Melt white chocolate.
Dip each Oreo in the white chocolate, then lay out on a paper towel or baking rack.
Sprinkle with peppermint sprinkles.
Let them cool for about 30 minutes.
Not just your usual chocolate chip cookie recipe, this one adds Oreo cookies to the mix.
Chocolate Chip Oreo Chunk Cookies
2 C all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 C unsalted butter, melted
1 C packed brown sugar
1/2 C white sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 C dark chocolate chips
1 C white chocolate chips
2 C crushed Oreo cookies. Break by hand into large chunks
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease your cookie sheets.
Sift flour, salt and baking soda together and set aside.
Mix the sugars and melted butter, add egg, yolk and vanilla and mix. Add sifted ingredients and mix until just blended.
Stir in the Oreo chunk, chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
Leave them on the cookie sheet to cool about 5-10 minutes. Remove the cookies and place on a cookie rack to finish cooling. They will fall apart if you move them too early.
This recipe makes approximately 17 cookies.

I need to start churning these bad boys out, stat! I am envisioning them on my cookie trays this holiday season.
Thanks for sharing--love it!
They look yummy!
These look amazing! I will need to steal this...
Thanks for posting the recipe!
I'm planning to do this today or tomorrow...do you have a trick for dipping? Do you use tongs? Just your hands? I'm thinking mine aren't going to turn out nearly as nice...
I'm planning on doing this as well, and I'm trying to avoid doing the cookie-pop style ones with the sticks..but I don't know how to dip them without the stick! Also, did you dip a couple of times? The chocolate coating looks very thick on yours
Thanks Ladies.
I dipped them just holding them (you can use tongs) and I did not double dip.
You just have to do what works for you.
Have fun. This recipe is so yummy!
Hey, :)
I want to send these as a gift... once I've made them how long should they last?? :) they look awesome btw! :)
Tara.
Keep them refrigerated and don't worry about them lasting.Whenever I make them they are gone in 2 days.
Could you add peppermint extract, or oil, to the chocolate? I am just curious how much peppermint taste there is with there only being some sprinkled on the outside.
I just made these wuth double stuffed oreos and they were amazing! A hit at our Christmas party :)
I wonder how they would taste if you used the mint oreos and them dipped them. Might have to try it.
These are simply the best!
I've been making them for years. They are also great with the mint Oreo's, dipped in chocolate instead of white chocolate and add the red and green sugar sprinkles (not sure what they're called)as well as candy canes.
Haven't tried them with white chocolate, will have to!
Thanks for sharing!
WOW, looks amazing :) Love your blog
I made these on Friday night (the 14th) for a cookie exchange I was hosting (the chocolate chip oreo chunk cookies) and only were they delicious, they were a hit! But then again DUH! they're made with oreos so they were bound to be good! :D Thanks for sharing this!
I just made these for a cookie exchange I hosted last Friday night (the 14th) and not only were they delicious, they were a hit! Thanks for sharing this recipe!
I made these delicious cookies today but I had to use 18 oz of white chocolate to get a good coating...did you use a three pack of cookies. Regardless they are delicious.
