Real Urban BBQ

At 610 Central Avenue in Highland Park, this restaurant has a large smoker sitting out front so it’s difficult to ignore the BBQ aroma - your first indication that something special is cooking up inside.

They have won a bunch of awards and rightfully so. They get my vote as one of the best BBQ spots in the burbs.

Try the 12 hour pulled pork or one of their brisket dishes. The best: Burnt Ends and it comes with one or two of the appetizing sides.
Just look at the Sweet Potato Souffle and the Balsalmic Glazed Green Beans above.

Too close for comfort, it will top my list when I’m craving the great taste of BBQ and it’s 30 below.

Bon Appetit!
