The Next Great Italian Pastry Chef!

I have never been a fan of Tiramisu but never say never. I always thought that it was too sweet.

Guess where this little bit of heaven came from? Yep - Gerhard's European Desserts at 720 N. Western Ave in Lake Forest. I know - pretty soon even you are going to know their address by heart. Thank you Mary!

Is there anything they make that doesn’t taste astonishing? Now, even something I never liked before in my entire life is on my Saturday night indulgence list.

Mary told me the secret to the Tiramisu is that they use Galbani Mascarpone which is very $$$ but what a difference in taste.

I can also credit Gerhard’s for turning baking into an obsession for me. I may just be an Italian pastry chef in my next life.
