Sprinkles Cupcakes

This cupcake bakery, in the Gold Coast neighborhood, had a line out the door a mile long.

Having just opened on Monday at 50 E. Walton St., I could not wait to try the cupcakes whose ingredients are sweet cream butter, bittersweet Callebaut chocolate, Nielsen-Massey Madagascar bourbon vanilla and sprinkles imported from France. Wow, my kind of ingredient list.

The indulgence of the day: Key Lime – what else? Verdict: A perfect 10 – it was so yummy I can’t wait to go back and try the pumpkin.

Remember, with a cupcake it’s all about the frosting. Sprinkles has that sweet crowning down to a science of good ingredients and the perfect size.
